Covenant Presbyterian Church - Charlotte, NC

Plan Your Visit

At Covenant we're honored to have members and visitors from all stages and walks of life. If you're visiting us for one day, several months, or many years, we're glad you're here. On this page you'll find helpful hints to make your first visit a little easier. Learn more about each Sunday Service.

Watch our "Finding Your Way at Covenant" video to hear Lora Borrelli, our Membership and Engagement Director, provide a quick overview of locations on our campus.

Parking For Guests

Parking in the historic neighborhood of Dilworth can be tricky, so we designated special parking spots for visitors and for seniors in the lot off Arosa Avenue. See our campus map with parking.

What to Wear

We want you to feel comfortable in every way, which includes wearing the clothes you want to wear. You'll see members of our congregation in everything from jeans to suits, so dress for the needs of your day.

The Sanctuary

Our main sanctuary is our largest worship space. With its tall steeple this building is easy to locate.

Welcome Center

Located to the right of the Sanctuary, this building provides an accessible, covered entry point to a central gathering place, our Child Development Center, weekday Preschool, multi-level Education Center and Recreation Wing. A receptionist is available during weekday work hours to assist with directions and questions.

Connections Table

If you're visiting with us on Sundays, stop by the "Connections Table" located outside the Sanctuary door after the service. Grab a cup of coffee, pick up a free treat, and learn about our church. Our greeters are happy to assist you and there's no obligation — just smiles and chocolate!

Giving

As a visitor, please do not feel like you should give an offering or donation during a worship service. Most of our members give online, so you won't be the only person passing the plate without dropping something in.

Adult Programming

We have classes and gatherings on Sunday mornings, Wednesday evenings or other times during the week. To learn more visit our  Young Adults page, Adults page, Congregational Care page and our Recreation Ministry page.

Children & Youth Programming

We offer childcare during Sunday worship services, as well as Sunday School for all ages. We also have programs and classes on Wednesdays at certain times during the year. To learn more visit our Children's page , Youth page, Sundays page and Wednesdays page.
