Inclusion at Covenant

Covenant is committed to supporting and celebrating our members with diverse needs and abilities. Our Inclusion Team was established in early 2025 to assess ways our community can be more impactful in our support. Their goal has been to create meaningful infrastructure that expands accessibility, provide support to make church experiences more comfortable and less stressful, and build out an overall environment that says to kids and families with disabilities:

“you are expected, you are provided for, you are safe, and you are joyfully invited to belong here.”

The Inclusion Team will continue to work toward this goal, and is actively rolling out new supports and solutions. This page will be continually updated to reflect those solutions as they are put in place in order to aid your planning. The current supports at Covenant include:

Social-Emotional Supports

  • Sensory bags and individual sensory aids (ear defenders, disposable ear plugs, fidget variety) available at every service
  • Sensory Support Kits provided in every Sunday School classroom
