Rebuilding After the Storm: A Year of Hope and Partnership

On September 27, 2024, Hurricane Helene brought devastating loss to communities across our region. In this gallery, we share images from our recent event in the Welcome Center, where Ruth Shirley of Volunteer Avery offered a “Minute for Ministry” reflecting on both the destruction left in the storm’s wake and the ongoing efforts to rebuild.

These highlighted Covenant’s yearlong mission of relief and restoration, celebrating the many volunteers who have joined us in this transformative work. These photos capture the story of faith, compassion, and community —  a testimony to how relief funds and volunteer efforts continue to create lasting impact in the lives of those affected.
