A native of Jacksonville, Florida, Katherine is a cradle Presbyterian. She graduated from Davidson College and holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Wake Forest University. As a young adult working in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, she joined Covenant where she was an active member, as well as a staff member for one year. It was during her first tenure at Covenant that she discerned a call to ministry.

Katherine earned her Master’s in Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary and was ordained at Covenant in 2005. She served as Associate Pastor at First Presbyterian Church in Oxford, Mississippi before returning to Charlotte in 2008. She was Associate Pastor for Pastoral Care and Congregational Life at First Presbyterian Church, Charlotte for 11 years. Katherine joined the staff at Covenant in October 2019.

Katherine is married to Bill and they are the parents of Caroline.
