A talk by botanical garden expert
Hear from Patrick Larkin
Patrick Larkin, executive director of Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens, speaks on “A Garden for All Seasons and the Grandiflora: Glass in the Garden” exhibit.
Wednesday, Sept. 18. Join us in Room 201 of the Education Wing at 10:30 a.m. for refreshments and 11 a.m. for the talk.

See the Seattle-based Jason Gamrath exhibit “Grandiflora: Glass in the Garden.” Celebrate the 20th anniversary of the garden by viewing these awe-inspiring, larger-than-life botanical glass sculptures.
Wednesday, Sept. 25. We will leave from Covenant in rented vans at 9:30 a.m. and return by 2:30 p.m. Cost of $20 includes a picnic lunch on the grounds. RSVP by Sept. 18.

Wednesday, October 9th
Paul Pedigo will teach us about the art and symbolism in our Chapel stained glass windows. The chapel windows include Jesus’ miracles and parables. Join us outside the chapel at 10:30 for refreshments and fellowship, then we will head into the chapel to enjoy time with our speaker starting at 11:00. No RSVP needed.

Wednesday, October 23rd
Join TLC as we travel to Columbia, South Carolina. We will have a guided tour of Van Gogh and His Inspirations. This exhibition at the Columbia Museum of Art showcases the work of one of the most beloved artists in the world. Lunch at your expense is planned at Michael’s Restaurant across the street from the museum. Your group discounted ticket is $13.00 paid in advance. Drop off or mail your check made out to Covenant Presbyterian Church to Mary Mattiacci by October 16th. Your check is your reservation. We will depart from Covenant in rented vans at 9:00 AM and return by 4:00 PM. We hope you will join us!!
