Room in the Inn - Tuesday nights, Feb. 20 and 27

Join a group offering hospitality and fellowship to our neighbors experiencing homelessness. There are many roles each night, including bringing and serving dinner, driving the Covenant van for pick-up and drop-off, participating in evening fellowship with our guests and staying overnight as a host.

Contact February coordinators Jim and Jolene Powell for details.

Kinship Project - Begins Sunday, March 4 and then Tuesday nights, March 6, 13, 20 and 27

Join staff and volunteers in the Kinship Project, a time of reflection and service, where faith and poverty come together for Room in the Inn. Opening retreat is Sunday, March 4 and participants commit to at least three of four Tuesday nights in March serving Room in the Inn guests.

Highland Teacher Appreciation Brunch - Mondays, Feb. 19 and March 19

A simple, but important, way to celebrate the mighty teachers and staff of Highland Renaissance Academy, Covenant’s partner school. It’s our chance to embrace those who embrace, nurture and educate students tirelessly and steadfastly day after day.

Brunch takes place on the third Monday of each month. Covenant members are invited to contribute food, drinks, flowers or a note of encouragement so that staff may enjoy a light breakfast, healthy snack, sweet treat or simple reminder that what they do matters – a lot – throughout the day. Simply drop off your contribution at the church. Sign up here.
