Women of Covenant and the community are welcome to join us at the Pinehurst Resort where three of Covenant’s wellness warriors will guide us through an exploration of the Wheel of Health. 

We’ll consider our whole selves and see how weakness in one area can lead to some wobbliness as we roll along in life. Looking inward, we will learn the infinite ways we can strengthen the spokes so that the ride of life is more enjoyable:

Cheryl Hoover

Cheryl is a registered pharmacist and a cancer survivor who now uses the pharmacy in her kitchen to help her body do what God designed it to do; fight disease and be healthy.   

She looks at nutrition with a biblical slant asking questions like “What did God intend for us to eat and why?” Cheryl is certified in Plant Based Nutrition and currently co-writing a book with a physician on how to eat for your best overall health.

Martha Isaacs

Martha served on Covenant staff for 20 years- 17 years as Director of Women's Ministries.

She holds a certificate in spiritual formation from Columbia Theological Seminary with special interest in the contemplative life and practices. She facilitates two centering prayer groups at Covenant as well as a contemplative readers Book group. She has facilitated retreats for other churches as well as small private retreats.

Kim Moseley

Kim has 35 years of experience as a licensed clinical social worker, nationally board certified health and wellness coach, and has additional training in career counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia and mindfulness-based stress reduction.  

She specializes in working with people to get"unstuck", and to regain joy and fulfillment in life in spite of any physical, mental and emotional challenges.
