Worship actively through Music and Arts programs

Do you or your child have a love for music - or a desire to worship through song and art?

Covenant's vibrant music ministry provides opportunities to learn and grow as a musician as you express your faith in song. Here's some recent news from our ministry:    

Adult Choir rehearsals are on Wednesdays

Make worship part of your midweek routine. Join us for rehearsal Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Peek Music Room, located downstairs in the Sanctuary building. Attend the full rehearsal to prepare for worship each Sunday, or come from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. to be part of special music for occasions such as All Saints Sunday and Lessons & Carols.

Children's Choirs - paused for summer

Calling all children in kindergarten through 5th grade. Join us on our new night and come Walk in the Light of the Lordas we learn to be worship leaders for our congregation. Rehearsals for Angelus Choir (Grades K-2) are Wednesdays from 5:45 to 6:30 p.m. and Chorister Choir (3-5) are Wednesdays from 5:45 to 6:30 p.m.

An invitation to Youth Choir - paused for summer

Rehearsals are Sundays from 10:30 to 10:50 a.m. in Ed Wing 315 led by Kenney and Heather Potter. 

Adult Handbell Choir with Rob Dicks

Contemporary Worship Team

Do you sing or play an instrument such as the guitar, saxophone or drums? Make music with us at the 9:30 a.m. contemporary service in the Sanctuary and the 11 a.m. contemporary service in Fellowship Hall. Rehearsals are Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary to prepare for the 9:30 a.m. worship experience and at 6 p.m. on Thursdays to prepare for the 11 a.m. worship experience. An overview of our music ministry

Open to adults who desire to express their faith through song and lead God’s people in worship. Serves as the primary service choir for the 11:00 traditional service in the sanctuary. Provides leadership for special services throughout the year
This team leads music for worship at the 9:30 a.m. contemporary service in the Sanctuary and the 11 a.m. contemporary service in Fellowship Hall. Open to all singers and instrumentalists.

The Covenant Ringers adult handbell choir plays several times a year for Traditional and Contemporary Worship and in special services.

Covenant Ringers rehearse on Mondays from 6-7 p.m. in EW320.

Angelus Choir (grades K-2)

• Open to children in kindergarten through 2nd grade

iWorship is an opportunity for any youth interested in the idea of contemporary worship to come together and not only learn skills relevant to leading in worship, but also skills relevant to selecting and preparing the offerings that are led.

This group of middle school and high school dancers participates in a variety of worship services quarterly throughout the academic year.

Open to youth in grades 6-12 Sings regularly in traditional and contemporary worship and during the Service of Lessons and Carols and Youth Sunday. Covenant Youth Chorale rehearses on Sundays from 4:45 to 5:30 p.m. in EW315.

This group of musicians young and old offer their gifts in worship and at other occasions. Flute players of all ages are welcome to join for periodic practices and performances. Contact Covenant Emily Schauer at
