Adult Education

Dear friends,

“Teacher” is one of the many titles ascribed to Jesus in the New Testament. Presumably, this necessarily means that Christ’s earliest disciples viewed themselves as students who not only sought to follow Christ but also desired to learn from his as well.

Covenant Presbyterian Church continues to believe that robust and engaging Christian education is a fundamental component of our faith life. We desire to be a place where all people can explore important questions of faith, be challenged, and seek to better understand God’s call.

We offer a number of opportunities for adult learning. There is something for everyone and for every schedule. I hope you will consider joining us – and I know that your life of faith will be enriched and deepened if you do.

Yours in Christ,

Ian

First Sunday Series

On the first Sunday of each month, our Sunday Schools merge for a unified class at 9:30am in Fellowship Hall Room 207. This offering is a time to reflect together on important themes which impact the whole community. Often, we highlight the faith stories that exist within our congregation and, simultaneously, help one another to cultivate faith-based practices which enliven our spiritual lives.

Uptown Bible Study

Do you work or live in uptown Charlotte? If so, consider joining us on either Tuesday or Wednesday  from noon to 1:00PM at the Foundation for the Carolinas (220 N. Tryon Street). Bring your lunch and your Bible as we explore Scripture together! All are welcome!
