Working to Solve Family Homelessness

Join a Charlotte Family Hope Team to support a local family in need.
Charlotte Family Housing (CFH) is a shelter-to-housing program for families experiencing homelessness. Founded in 2011, Charlotte Emergency Housing, Family Promise of Charlotte, and the Workforce Initiative for Supportive Housing-W.I.S.H. combined their resources and expertise to address the needs of families experiencing homelessness; CFH was formed.

Ways to Serve with Charlotte Family Housing

The CFH mission is to empower families to achieve life-long self-sufficiency through shelter, housing, supportive services, and advocacy.

Join a Charlotte Family Housing Hope Team. This collaborative effort empowers working families to end a cycle of poverty with the help of a support system. Adults can join a HOPE team - a group of four to six people that provide a support system to one family in the form of friendship and advocacy. This is a commitment of love and support that requires free training and a partnership with a social worker.
