Sing with Covenant Choir
Rehearsals are Wednesdays 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Join the choir on a short-term basis! Rehearsals for the Dec. 16 Lessons & Carols service are Wednesdays from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Peek Music Room in Sanctuary building. Stick around until 8:30 p.m. to sing for all Advent services. Contact Director Heather Potter.

Alternative Gift Market
Sunday, Dec. 2, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Rec Wing
This Christmas market offers a different way to give. All proceeds benefit our mission partners. You'll find pottery and artisan wares, olive oil and food items from Palestine, jewelry and crafts from Africa and much more. As always, we'll have honor cards from mission partners, including Heifer International.
Christmas Crafts + Santa visits Covenant
Wednesday, Dec. 5 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. in Fellowship Hall
This beloved Covenant tradition brings Christmas cheer for kids of all ages. Santa Will returns for another year. Time slots are full but Santa will accommodate walk-ins!
Service of healing and wholeness
Wednesday, Dec. 12 at 6:30 p.m. in Chapel
In the bustle of Advent, it can be hard to find time to reflect on the true meaning of the season. Through scripture, prayer and music, we will slow down and ready our hearts for the coming of the Christ child. Bob Henderson and Julia Watkins will lead us.
Christmas Caroling with Covenant friends
Wednesday, Dec. 12 beginning at 5 p.m.
Join us to sing carols to our Covenant neighbors. All ages are invited for favorites including: Hark! The Herald Angels Sing, The First Nowell and Silent Night.
- 5 p.m. - Soup and sandwiches in the Fellowship Hall
- 5:45 p.m. – Practice singing our carols
- 6 p.m. – Depart on foot to visit homes of our neighbors (They're expecting us). We'll carry song booklets. Bring a flashlight!
- 7 p.m. – Return to church for cookies and hot chocolate
'O Little Town of Bethlehem'
Sunday, Dec. 16 from 10:30 to 11 a.m.
Prayer stations will be open in the Chapel for you to stop by and pray for Tomorrow's Youth Organization (TYO) and Bright Stars of Bethlehem, our mission partners working for peace in the Holy Land.
Lessons & Carols Service
Sunday, Dec. 16 at 5 p.m. in Sanctuary
The choirs of Covenant, accompanied by majestic brass, timpani, organ and bells, will lead our congregation in joyful worship with songs of the season celebrating Christ’s birth.
A special offering will support Crisis Assistance Ministry, whose mission is to provide assistance and advocacy for people in financial crisis, helping them move toward self-sufficiency. Please make checks payable to Covenant Presbyterian Church and designate for Crisis Assistance Ministry. You can give online here.
Young Adults Christmas Party
Tuesday, Dec. 18 at 6:45 p.m.
All are welcome for food and drink at the Ferone house (2800 Wamath Drive).
Choir Alumni invited to sing in worship
Sunday, Dec. 23 at 11 a.m.
College students, young adults and youth choir alumni are invited to join the Covenant Choir in leading worship with “Masters in This Hall,” an 1800s-era Christmas carol beloved by our previous youth groups. Rehearsal is in the Peek Music Room at 10 a.m. Contact Director Heather Potter.

Christmas Day Potluck with Room in the Inn
Bring a dish to share as Covenant hosts a community dinner for Charlotte neighbors experiencing homelessness. We'll gather in the Fellowship Hall. You can sign up here.
