Join the crew for church-wide Habitat build
Our congregation was one of seven founding churches of Habitat Charlotte 35 years ago. This spring, we will do a full house build lasting 13 days.
The next dates are Thursday, April 4; Friday, April 5; Saturday, April 6; Saturday, April 13; Thursday, April 25; Friday, April 26; and Saturday, April 27.
To sign up, follow this link: https://habitatcltvolunteers.force.com/VolunteerGroupSearch and enter in group #1808. You can then choose from among work days and sign up.
Childcare is available if there are two or more in need. Please email Tripp & Christy Moore at email@example.com to make a reservation.
If you are unable to build but still want to help, we have several others ways to get involved. We are looking for people or groups to provide lunches at the worksite as well as help with childcare so parents of young children can participate. If you are interested in either of these opportunities, please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Camp Habitat, a time for children
Saturday, April 6 from 8 a.m. to noon and noon to 4 p.m.
Covenant has adopted a Habitat for Humanity house to build during March and April. Children’s Ministry will provide “Camp Habitat,” free child care and programming for children of adults who volunteer on this project. Child care will also be available as needed. Campers will build the shed for our Habitat family and enjoy other construction and creative projects.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: Adults and youth will be needed as leaders, shepherds and construction crew. For more information, contact Tripp and Christy Moore at email@example.com
