The
Music Ministry is a vital part of the life of Covenant Presbyterian
Church. Through its various choirs, the music ministry offers
members and friends the opportunity to share their talents in praise
and service to Christ’s Church. Children, youth, and adults learn
about scripture, church tradition, and music while enjoying the warm
fellowship of the church family. Choir members know the importance
of their musical leadership and faithfully lift their voices in
praise of Almighty God. .You are welcome to share in our joyful

New Choir
Members are Needed! Did you ever sing in school?
Where you ever in your church choir growing up? If the answer is
yes, we need you! If the answer is no, we can teach you! The Adult
Choir encourages you to consider joining us! Where else could
you immediately have 75 new friends? There is no audition. We
welcome all who wish to praise the Lord with song. We meet on
Thursday nights beginning August 21 at 7:30 pm. Come visit, come
talk, call a choir member and inquire. We don’t bite…we just sing!
Covenant is
hosting the Westminster Choir College Schola Contorum in March 2009.
The choir will sing on March 15. Volunteers are needed to house 100
students (2 per household) and provide five hotel rooms. If you are
interested in housing two students or providing one hotel room,
contact Jane Kuester Taylor, Burton Mackey, Jane H. Taylor, Sandra
Cates, Gale Pendergraph, Sally Kuester Shaw or Guy Huggins. They are
compiling a list of possible hosts.
