Virginia Rumbley has worked at Covenant since
1996 as
the Accounting Manager. Before coming to Covenant, Virginia worked at Barry & Watkins
Construction, Charlotte Copy Data, Kayser-Roth Hosiery, and Wendy's of South
Florida. She
considers coming to work in God's house with no inventories to count or
control a true blessing for an accountant.
Virginia
attended Auburn University, received a B.A. from Florida Atlantic University,
and an M.B.A. from the University of Miami.
During the summers of 2001 & 2002 she attended Union Seminary of
Richmond to work on her certification as a Fellow in Church Business
Administration. In her younger
years, she spent nine months studying and traveling through Europe on numerous
trips.
Virginia
has been married to Keith, her college sweetheart, since 1980.
They have two children, Erika and Colin.
Keith owns EverLamb Residential, and is the Broker in Charge.
The Rumbleys are active members at The Little Church on the Lane, a
Moravian Protestant church.
Virginia says about her job at Covenant, "I absolutely love working in God's house, for God's people, as His servant."
