UPTOWN SHELTER VOLUNTEERS

 

Our next opportunity to serve the Uptown Shelter: July 29, 2008

 

Help at the Uptown Shelter with the following:

• Dessert (brownies and cookies ONLY  - no cakes please)
   

• Casserole (Texas Hash) ** Please note: The Adult Choir has made several casseroles for this month
  BUT - we can always use more. Click here for recipe
   

• Fresh Fruit (apples & bananas)

PLEASE PUT YOUR HASH IN A ONE GALLON SIZE ZIPLOCK BAG AND LAY FLAT. 

THIS WILL HELP US STACK THEM IN THE FREEZER BETTER.

• Serve at the shelter. (We are limited to 5 - 6 servers)

 

Please bring items to the FREEZER IN THE FELLOWSHIP HALL by 12 noon on Sunday, July 27 for the meal on Tuesday, July 29. If you are a server, please be at the shelter by 5:15 to prepare the meal for serving.
