Sunday, Aug. 27 following worship services

Preview the new line-up of small groups, programs and classes in the Fellowship Hall following worship services.  A fried chicken lunch begins at 11 a.m. Visit the Ed Wing for an open house at 10:30 a.m. to see your child's new classroom and reconnect with friends.

Here's a look at small groups set to begin new seasons.

Women’s Sunday Night Small Group
Second and fourth Sundays, 6 to 8 p.m. in members’ homes
Mostly women in late 20s and 30s gathering for friendship, prayer and spiritual exploration.

Tuesday Covenant Lunch Group
Tuesdays 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. beginning Sept. 6 in Fellowship Hall.

Open to all adults, this group will discuss the Gospel of John.

Uptown Bible Study
Tuesdays at noon beginning Sept. 6 at Foundation for the Carolinas
Open to all, a diverse group led by Jessica Patchett and studying the gospel of John.

NEW! Fall South Park Workday Bible Study
Wednesdays from noon to 1 p.m. Sept. 7 to Nov. 30; Union Presbyterian Seminary on campus of Sharon Presbyterian, Room 201

Open to all adults, new group will explore the gospel of John.

Disciple Bible Study: Jesus and the Gospels
Wednesdays 6:30 to 8 p.m. Sept. 14 to Dec. 14
Registration necessary. For this high-commitment Bible study led by Bob Henderson and Jessica Patchett, participants will be asked to complete reading and written reflections each week. This study will explore Jesus’ identity and invitation in the context of both the gospels and the core story of the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament).

Sharon Towers Bible Study
Thursdays, noon to 1 p.m. beginning Sept. 8
Led by Jen Christianson and Anne McQuiston, this group of primarily Sharon Towers residents will explore the gospel of John this fall.

Women’s Friday Morning Bible Study
Fridays, 9:30 to 11 a.m. beginning Sept. 16 in the Sanctuary Building Parlor
Join us for self-contained, Scripture-based conversations among women at any point on your journey.

Sisters in Spirit Breakfasts
Tuesday, Sept. 13, 7-8 a.m., Fellowship Hall
All are invited for fellowship and an uplifting faith story. Our September speaker is Mary Nell McPherson, Covenant member and head of Freedom School Partners.

New Beginnings
