Tuesday, May 22 - Trip - We will depart from the church parking lot at 8:00 am to drive to Elton County, Georgia just over the South Carolina stata line.  After a 45-minute self-guided tour, we will depart for Pendleton, SC for lunch at Libery Hall Inn on your own.  We'll have time to walk through the Market Square to explore the shops or just sit and people watch.  Save room for desserts as we have planned our next stop at Clemson for the "World's Best Milkshake" or whatever decadent treat you would like to order.  Don't forget the Clemson Bleu Cheese available for purchase too.  We will have a comfort stop on the way to Elton County and before returning to the church around 6:00 pm.  Your check for $5.00 is your reservation due by May 15 to Judy White.

Sunday, June 3, 4:00-6:00 pm - Sharon Towers Social - TLC will provide refreshements and musical entertainment for all residents of Sharon Towers in honor of Covenant members who reside there.  (No additional program for June).

Thursday, June 14 - Trip - We will visit the Charlotte History Museum and Hezekiah Alexander Home Site on the grounds of the museum followed by lunch at Foskowski's Restaurant.  Cost is $5.00 plus lunch on your own.  Leave from the church at 9:30 am and return after lunch.  Mail your check to Judy White as your reservation.  Deadline is June 7.

Wednesday, June 27, 12:30 pm, EW 212, Lunch & Movie - A light lunch of gazpacho, sandwich and brownie will be served in the Senior room and "The Way" will be shown in the third floor theater.  Cost is $2.00 for lunch.  Please call Judy White (704-804-7561) to make a reservation so we will have enough food.

Wednesday, July 11, 11:00 am, EW 212 -Program - Learn about The Future of Energy with a projection from Duke/Progress Energy covering the next 20 years.  Come hear about fossil fuels, nuclear energy and renewable energy that will affect all aspects of our lives.

Thursday, July 26-Friday, July 27 - Overnight trip to Hendersonville - Leave Covenant at 9:30 am and stop in Lake Lure for a picnic boxed lunch.  Tour Carl Sandburg's home and grounds, visit the Wrinkled Egg Shop in Flat Rock and check into the Highland Lake Inn.  Dinner (at your expense) will be at the Flat Rock Wood Room followed by the play "Guys and Dolls" at the Playhouse.  Breakfast on Friday morning is included with your room.  Depart at 9:30 am to visit St. John in the Wilderness Church and tour downtown Hendersonville for lunch on your own at one of the quaint cafes or historical soda shop.  Return to Covenant by 5:00 pm.  Cost is $130 per person which includes your boxed lunch, theater ticket, double room, bus and breakfast.  (You will have two meals at your own expense).  Your check is your reservation due to Judy White by June 14.  (Cancellations will receive a refund if we are able to find someone to fill your spot).

Also of Interest - Monday, July 30, 7:15 pm - "A Night with the Knights" - Braves vs Knights - tickets are $7.00.  Meet Covenant friends at the stadium or carpool from the church parking lot.  Contact James Huffman at 704-334-7491 for more information.

Reservation Policy: Some events require a check to pay for the event. Any event requiring a ticket purchase (i.e. museums, etc.) will not be refunded. If you have made a reservation for an event you will not receive a confirmation telephone call to confirm the event or trip.
